Globally Inclusive Websites
Create inclusive websites for your diverse and international audience

Who is this course for?
I created Globally Inclusive Websites for anyone with an online business who wants to make their website more welcoming and easier to use for people around the world.
Both designers and non-designers are welcome.

What will we cover?
1. How to design for people who speak multiple languages:

How do you make your content easy to find and understand for people who speak English as an additional language?
2. How to design for people who hold different cultural identities:

How do you reflect diverse identities and perspectives in your content while practicing cultural sensitivity (and avoiding cultural appropriation)?
3. How to design for people who live in different locations:

How can you make it easier for your international audience to buy from you and work with you?

Running an inclusive online business is important for you, but you’ve also got a lot on your plate — so course content is presented in eight short and sweet videos, each under 10 minutes.

What's included?

  • 7 ways you can make your website more globally inclusive
  • Course content presented in eight short videos (5-7 min each)
  • Lifetime access to the course content
  • All future updates to the course (including a private podcast feed, planned for mid-2023, so you can listen to it on your phone!)

When will it be available?

As soon as you sign up.

When you complete the checkout process on this page, you'll get enrolled via Podia, my online course platform. You'll get an email with a link to access all the material. (Please allow for up to 15 minutes for the email to arrive!)

Who created this course?
Hey, I’m Danbee. I’m a web design mentor and a global inclusion specialist.

Here are some quick bullets to help you decide whether I’m the right person for you when it comes to learning about inclusive web design and business:

  • I built a 6-figure web design business creating inclusive websites. My clients are online coaches who work with me because I help them book more clients and build thriving businesses that reflect their unique and multi-layered identities. Inclusive design isn’t just theory for me — it’s what I've practiced to earn a living.

  • Before I started my business, I led diversity, inclusion, and equity (DEI) initiatives at tech startups and multinational conglomerates. I’ve been doing this work since before it was called DEI, fighting for gender equity in Jakarta and shaping global inclusion strategies in New York City.

  • My big "why" is to make it easier for anyone to build a successful online business without hiding who they are, regardless of where they are in the world. Early on in my business, I found myself modifying my behavior and assimilating into white, west-centric spaces just so that the people I was learning from would like me and help me grow my business. No more. We all deserve to create success while showing up as our whole selves.

  • I tell it like it is — nicely. My teaching style is fluff-free and direct. I don’t like telling you what to do, but I love giving you options and helping you figure out what makes the most sense for you.

Sound good? Then I can’t wait to talk to you about creating inclusive websites for your diverse and international audience.

What my customers are saying about Globally Inclusive Websites:
Ayesha Wan
Developer & Web Designer, New Zealand

“Compared to all the inclusion-related content I’ve seen from other people, your course is far more practical. I learned to tweak my website and how I serve my clients. You teach how to take action and embody inclusion. Zero fluff, packed with data and stories. So quick to go through in one go.”
Hannah Strenger
Queer Guide and Coach, United States

“As someone who is a part of, and coaches members of, the LGBTQ+ community, I’ve made it my mission to make people feel seen and heard as best I can. This course has helped me feel more confident doing that on a global scale by making simple edits to my website design and copy. This course has it all — real-life examples, tangible tools, and valuable information to consider as you decide which solutions make the most sense for you and your website.”
Deepti Saini
System Specialist, India

“I learned so much! I’m going to implement what I learned not just on my website, but also in my Dubsado (client relationship management) system as well! Globally Inclusive Websites is helping me take the first step toward building a more inclusive freelancing and digital world.”
Ana Lea Amelio
Web Designer & Content Strategist, United States

“I was born in Croatia and like you, I’ve often felt marginalized because of my nationality. I signed up for Globally Inclusive Websites because I wanted to avoid making my audience feel alienated or excluded. Your course made me realize that there is a lot more to ensuring one’s website is inclusive beyond simply providing multiple currencies and time zone options. I feel better equipped to tackle future web design projects with inclusivity in mind.”
